Daniele Agostino Derossi Foundation - A wonderful foundation that has done more for Maya people that any other that we know of.  Take a look at some of their great work.

Jolkona Foundation-  A foundation created to help raise funds for great organizations across the globe. 

Endangered Threads -- A group that produces documentaries on Maya weavings.  These are documentaries that you will want to have.

Friends of the Maya -- A great non-profit group that helps Maya scholars attend the Texas Maya Meeting each year, and provides other help to Maya people in Mexico and Guatemala.

Instituto de Lingüística y Educación (ILE) -- A linguistics institute at the Universidad Landívar in the city of Guatemala that does much to preserve Maya languages and to promote education among the Maya people of today.   

Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends -- This Quaker group in Philadelphia contributes to efforts promoting peace, justice, and equal opportunity throughout the world, and has done much for the indigenous people of Guatemala.

PLFM Spanish School -- The original and probably still the best Spanish school in Antigua Guatemala.  Besides offering Spanish classes, PLFM helps document and preserve Mayan languages and culture. 

Pre-Columbian Society at the University of Pennsylvania Museum.  Beside offering speakers each month on Pre-Columbian topics, this group offers workshops on Maya glyphs.  Open to the public.

SladeChild Foundation -- An excellent and easy way for federal employees to contribute to the well-being of children in poor areas across the globe.
